Communism. The plight of the proletariat against oppression, poverty, and neglect. The war for the people’s interest, in creating a new society without worry of losing your house to the bank, or stressing on how your next insurance payment will be paid. But we know this - The point is, how is it to be achieved? Since Modern Communism’s inception, the solution to this problem has been revolution – the violent overthrowing of the current system and the establishment of a “Dictatorship of the Proletariat”. But again, we know this. So let’s get to the real situation. In order for a revolution to be successful, it must be organized. The Vanguard Party must be a military force, with a full chain of ranking, strategy, and armory. But one thing people don’t seem to realize, is that it is vitally important to a revolution to be united – and I am not just talking about united nationwide, but worldwide.
People tend to forget about internationalism on the subject of the revolution. The revolution of every nation depends on the success of the revolution in every other nation in order to succeed in overthrowing the system. If you do not achieve a WORLDWIDE revolution, then you are no better off, because the opposing system still remains everywhere else and you have socialism in one country, which is doomed to fail. To have a successful revolution, you must have a united revolution.
That is where the problem comes in. It only takes one look at the world today to see that Communists are more divided than we have ever been. The North Korean Communist Party growing more and more authoritarian, the Communist Party of China sliding into State Capitalism, and the Communist Party of the United States now in support of the Democratic Reformists, it is clear that we not only need to unify once more, but we need an opportunity to sit down and re-think what we, as the Communist nation itself, are doing, and what courses we are taking. This is why it is, in my opinion, important to take a course of action that we’ve not seen for decades.
I propose commencing a process of establishing communication with other Communists in other nations worldwide, and tying all Communists together through means of internet, phone lines, mail services, and Amateur Radio. This will unite together Communists in a more personalized and close way, which will lead to the eventual foundation of the 8th World Congress of the Communist Internationale, with representatives from all Communist Parties worldwide. With an 8th Comintern, we can unify in a way that will once again make us strong as we were at the beginning of the 20th century. We would have the opportunity to discuss and communicate with each other in order to decide the future of our cause, and organize; because if we do not organize, we will not be able to win this war. Unity is the key. If we do not unite, we will surely fail.
I will take some time now, to explain these ideas a bit more.
Communication is vital to the survival of the Party. In order to stay united, we will have to establish a sturdy line of communication. I have assembled ideas for this.
§ Phone Lines
Using calling cards to make contact with other Communists internationally on secure lines.
§ Internet
As the largest means of communication in the world, this is already being used to unite other Communists worldwide.
§ Mail Service
Mail is the oldest means of long-range communication. It is important to utilize the mail services to communicate as well - Or better yet, forming our own underground mail service.
§ Amateur Radio
Amateur Radio is beyond a doubt, one of the most interesting, and basic forms of communication. Using Radio waves is a very cool way of talking to others worldwide. You can talk to anybody else listening in your area, if you have a base, in your state/region, and if the atmospheric conditions are right, other Communists worldwide will be able to contact you through radio waves. This option requires an Amateur Radio Operating License.
8th Comintern
The eventual product of our cooperation.
COMMINTERN SHALL INCLUDE: Representatives from all national Communist Parties + Communist/Socialist organizations who wish to join?
This time will be used to organize, talk, and make decisions, leading to the eventual foundation of the 8th Comintern. What are your thoughts on the means of Communication? Other ideas? Opinions? Place for Comintern to be held?
