Welcome :) Posts in introduction probably don't count. Posting in some other forum will be better.

Intro's don't count as a post to your post number. You have to post a few posts out in the actual forum.

Hello,
Just wanted to leave a quick introduction. I live in northern New England and am greatly enjoying the site.

There are very few people in this area with my political mindset and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good groups. I was considering the PSL.....anyone know anything about it??....

Anyway, I appreciate your help........

Welcome fellow New englander. I am a native-born Vermonter. There are some SP-USA associated groups in Vermont, not sure what is going on in NH. Boston is reasonably close to become involved in larger marches.

At least you can buy guns legally though!

Welcome to RevLeft, comrade!

All new members are unable to post threads directly after joining - don't take it personally ;)

From what I am tell, PSL is a good looking organization, although you may want to ask an American comrade about that, as they would know more than I do.

A few bits of information and words of advice:

(1) Don't feel rushed into joining a communist organization, especially "just because they're around". Go to their meetings, talk to their supporters, work on campaigns you may support but always think for yourself and raise your critiques. Think of working with an organization like your way of getting a political education.

Learn what works and what doesn't work, that way you can have some experience to be prepared when an actual vanguard of the proletariat emerges.

Too many young comrades get burned out or disillusioned by these democratic centralist self-proclaimed vanguard parties. They are a good place to learn, but they are defective by design (in the sense that they cannot and will not ever lead a revolution).

(2) Read about the Kasama Project (http://kasamaproject.org/) and see if you can find some points of unity with us. This is another good place to learn, especially to develop theory and learn from historical experience.

(3) I live out in Western MA. Feel free to get in touch if you're ever around. [This goes for everyone!] :)

Welcome!
