I can recognise he is one of the most "important" artists of the last century and to maintain a successful career that long is quite an achievement. I have never really gotten into his music a great deal. I've only heard the occasional song.
Perhaps I was put of when he threatened to kick Sinead O'Connor's ass when she refused to perform in New Jersey if the American national anthem was played.

The "New York" song are a classic.. I listen to it every new years eve, just because it really fits my mood then, and I just love it..... :D

Frank Sinatra was among Reagan's strongest supporters, had visible ties with the mob, and dodged the draft.
Sinatra solidified his early career by using violence to back him up. The man CAN sing, but the tricks he played on Sammy Davis were the straw that broke the camel's back for me.
On another note, Slobidan Milosevic (sp?) listened to "My Way" when he was in prison for that whole genocide thing...

Granted, nobody could sing it like Frankie. The fact is, however, he had definate mob ties. Mob ties which some believe got Kennedy elected in the first place.

I'm not necessarilly behind JFK at all...as for civil rights, he was in the right place at the right time I suppose.
He did have a thing against the Cuban Revolution and tried as hard as he could to put a stop to it. If he would have completed his presidency, I wonder what kind of shape Cuba would be in today?

like to see them all in a room together.
Frank: Hey, its pretty dark in here. James, boy, smile so we can see (he did this shit to sammy).
James: ooww!! Kill that cracker!
A fight ensues, and everyone kills Micheal Jackson, thinking he is the white man in question.
I am not in a good state of mind, so please forgive me
