Mark Selby owning Stephen Hendry was absolutely amazing.

Selby is definitely my favourite player fantastic game but not afraid to show a bit of personality too.
that frame where he came back from needing 4 snookers was a bit special one of the best matches I've seen in a long time.

Did you see Ding vs Bingham? My heart literally stopped 20 times and I screamed at least 7 times. What a match!!!!!

EDIT: It's actually pretty funny, I've never been into sports and I started watching snooker by accident this week while browsing RevLeft. Snooker rules.

Ding Junhui vs Mark Selby
Mark Williams vs Mark Allen
Ronnie O'Sullivan vs John Higgins

I thought Barry Hawkins was extremely awesome and I was sad to see him lose (because of that one fuck up)

I saw a bit of Ding vs Bingham but didn't watch all of it.

I'm gonna go with the players I want to win I think

Judd Trump - Graeme Dott
Should be a pretty even match but I really like Dott and he's been playing quite well so far.
Ding Jun Hui - Mark Selby
This is a really tough one because I want both players to do well. Ding looked a little wobbly in the earlier rounds and I think Selby is in the form of his life right now so I'm going with Selby
Mark Williams - Mark Allen
Mark Allen is another of my favourite players and I can't stand Mark Williams so it wasn't hard choosing who I want to win in this one.
Ronnie O'Sullivan - John Higgins
O'Sullivan is like Marmite you either love him or hate his attitude. Definitely the best player to ever pick up a cue but John Higgins is a much nicer guy so I want him to win but I can't see it happening.

I only chose Williams because I am mad at Allen for beating Hawkins :mad:

Also, I've been hearing that Allen is suffering from depression which might hinder his success. I'll definitely be cheering for him if he beats Williams, though -- great player.

Also WOW what a ridiculous video haha.

The Ding vs Bingham match was ridiuculous -- there were so many twists and turns in the decider and I was literally on my toes the entire time. I was cheering for Ding and it was awesome when he won.

I approve of throwing this thread into the OI pit.

Yeah Dott seemed on form, but Trump is running away with it and he has had a good season so far, so i think he'll def hang on.

I like Mark too. He's been through a rough patch recently and I hope he makes it through. Williams seems back on song after a few years out in the wilderness, but I can see Allen coming back at tonight's session from 5-3 down


Ronnie O'Sullivan - John Higgins

You need to treat Ronnie with kid gloves. He's been my favourite for yonks, but he can come across as disinterested and a bit incoherent.

Nice guy John. Yeah the guy who failed to report a dodgy meeting. I don't care if he was found not guilty, but the video proved him to be totally irresponsible and possibly open to any future match fixing, so any support or respect (which was a lot) i had for him has evaporated.

A Ronnie .vs. Allen semi would be sweet, but the final will probably be Ronnie .vs. Ding IMO

Trump is absolutely destroying Dott. It's ridiculous how frustrated Dott has become. Good for Trump! Dott is making very nice long pots though.

Allen has such a good spirit. He's much more fun and cheerful than Williams.

Both Ding and Selby are amazing. I think Ding "falling asleep" while waiting is really funny. :lol:

I haven't seen the O'Sullivan and Higgins match.

Yeah Trump had some flukes, but he had a few superb banana shots this morning too.

And i'm surprised at Williams progress. He's gone from strength to strength during this tournament. i hope he knocks the grin of the cheating bastard Higgins tomorrow :D

If Ding wings tomorrow then I'd say he'd go on to win it. If Trump progresses, then the winner will come from Higgins and Williams.

well my predictions were pretty shitty, I only got one right and that was the one I thought would be wrong :lol:

From the bits I've seen Trump has been amazing although I'll watch the highlights of the comeback later, I'm glad but quite surprised that Ding made a come back.

It would be fantastic for Ding to win it not just for him but for the whole sport. One of the great things about snooker is it's lack of nationalism. It's been so dominated by UK and Irish players that I think most people love it when someone from somewhere else starts doing well. Apparently there are some really good Polish players coming through and a slight reassurance of interest from Australia since Robertson won it last year. Now all we need is to integrate the women's game.:)

Well it was a brilliant final. i thought Trump was the better of the two overall --just, but Higgins managed to win it 18-15.

Higgins was heckled in the semis against Williams by a spectator in the audience shouting "How do you swallow 300 thousand John ?" :lol:
