The creation of gross wealth for some really is the precondition of deep poverty for others. Perhaps I'm coming around again.

Trvias here used to be a Marxist. A Marxist-Leninist, even, I think! He and I used to go at it over the concept of the Vanguard Party, too, back when I was an anarchist.

Well, of course it is, Most capitalist agree with this verry reasoning.
the only difference between a socialist and a capitalist interpretation of this fact is the degree of good it does to society.
for socialist, its obvious that its utterly destructive, that accumulation of wealth cause instability and will fuck up people lives.
for a capitalist, well, its all fine and dandy beccause the innovation and ''progress'' they create outnumber the bad consequence created by the inequality of incomes.

Some kinda libertarian. Right now the closest thing I can identify with is a Left Communist, though there's some ideas I'm struggling with. National Liberation/Anti-Imperialism, mainly.

Yeah, for most of my time on Revleft, I've been an anarchist, I think.

How anyone with a conscience can believe this is beyond me.

A lot of Capitalists do not, claiming wealth can be created, which it absolutely can and does, but not all profit, infact not even a large percentage of it is "created" and NONE of if is created by the Capitalists.
