okey, I'm just wondering did Che use anykind of drugs or something like that?
I read that he worked like 16-20 h per day.....well, at least he must have been quite tired?

I don't think so, Che had quite severe asthma when he was younger and I guess he was too busy after on in life. Perhaps when he was fighting in the Sierra Maestra with the Fidel etc. howvever, overall I doubt he ever did.

I don't know if Che did any drugs, but his picture is related a lot to the drug cultur ein north america. I was given a Che sticker in which, rather than have a star on his beret, he has a marijuana leaf. I'm not into drugs, so i blacked it out with a marker and drew a star so it would look more like the actual picture.

i doubt it, ché was very dispciplined in evertything, don't think he would take risks to set back te revolution by taking drugs (marihuana, coke, etc.)

Che doesn't take drugs... he was here to do serious business for the people..
So is there someone who wants to justify him/herself for taking drugs?
What a topic~! :D :D

Yes, but you dont inhale cigars, right? I would think him being a doctor, he wouldnt condone any illegal drug use.

Che did smoke cigars, and in the documentary "El Che" it mention how he loved the cuban cigars, and the fact that even though his asthma was sooo bad....he did inhale....plus you can get some sort of cancer or somthing in the back of your throught by smoking cigars or pipes...
But..i believe in the book "Remanesance of the cuban revolution" or maybe guevara also known as che...i read about how when che was in command of maybe five people, he got really sick. And that to heal himself he smoked some village remedy....i dont know if Marijuana was apart of the blend, but i wouldn't doubt it.
There's one reason i dont smoke pot or do other drugs...if i'm cought high or in possesion...no college for me..so i cant fuck up.

I don't.
You can get just much pleasure, if not more, plus if you get cancer, it's more likely to be lip or throat cancer,
which is easier to treat than lung cancer
And my mum says you're not supposed to inhale them either, and when Mother says something, it is true :D

are we talking "inhaling" as the same thing as "inhaling cigarettes"? is there another meaning to the word "inhale"? how can you not inhale smoke? where's the pleasure in that? dont tell me you dont inhale pot too :-S

Well with the cigars I smoke, a little bit like giant cubans and more like large panatellas, the smoke is very harsh and I absorb the nicotine through the lining of my mouth and nose, as well as breathing in some of the smoke I puff out. I also like to chew on the stubs if they're not to tarry.
So I do 'inhale' just not the same time as I take a pull.
btw, I inhale pot right down into the bottom of my lungs, as the smoke is much much milder.

Guevara routinely injected shots of adrenalin; it was believed to be a cure for his asthma. Whether or not this contributed to his ability to work ridicuolus hours is another matter...
...and whether or not he did work these hours, or whether it is merely a myth, part of the cult surrounding his personality...is another matter.

On the early 50's, when the UN debated on permiting or unpermiting the use of cocaine, Che tried once cocaine, and his opinion was: "I didn't like it, or saw the point of it".

He used shitloads of Yerbe Mate - which is a stimulant - as well as the aforementioned Adrenaline. Because Adrenaline is impractical to administer regularly in the field - I am certain he used amphetamines as a substitute - works just as well and doesn't have to be injected (so no need for sterile needles and shit). This would explain how he didn't need much sleep.

LOL - Che used Medicinal Marijuana! =D
Che Guevara used marijuana as a bronchodilator (he was a physician as well as revolutionary).

So a genuine commie constantly plans strategy and never does anything for fun? I suppose if you read a good book, you're not a true commie.

Can't put it this way.. never said a commie can't do something for fun. The problem is drugs wrecks one's physical & mental health. A commie who has further dreams to pursue, shouldn't wreck him/herself up.... there is also a great tendency to get addicted to drugs.....
