I'll miss him. He made some good music over the years. I liked his side project that he did too (Power Station)

Adios Amigo!

This is a big year for dying, isn't it?

Warren Zevon, Johnny Cash and his wife, John Ritter... someone should have a thread just listing all the celebrities that have up and died this year.

We should start a "Death Pool" and try to predict who else famous will buy it this year.

I'm trying very hard to hold my tongue, or fingers in this case. That said I don't wish untimely death on anyone, almost anyone anyway. It is too bad he died because his fans will miss him. Wow that was easier than I thought, mama always said if you don't have anything nice to say...

that sucks. my best friend and i were actually driving around yesterday listening to this best of the 80s cd and palmer was on it. he made some pretty good songs back in the day (sounds so far a way doesnt it?)

its kind of strange how everyone is dying off.....

Its a conspiracy, of course.

I mean, you just know they're gonna' start going after Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin. Jerry Garcia, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimi Hendrix, all the good musicians.

Anyway, you forgot Noel Redding
One of the best bass players of all time (arguably the best white bass player of all-no offense to anybody, its just that with the likes of Bootsy and Robbie Shakespeare and "Family Man" and the rest, its hard for Noel to even rank in the top 5 I think)

ahhh--- dont even mention Jerry. That was one of the worst days ever, along with the day Kurt died. I will never forget how horrible i felt. I couldnt freaking believe it- no more Dead. But they are still rockin' (and me dancing along) so it kinda makes things a tad bit better.

Also, you cannot forget Les Claypool as one of the most amazing bassists of all time. He freaking blows my mind away. The shit he does is just amazing- you can hear it in Primus, on his own, or with his other projects. Just amazing....
