NATO using depleted uranium in Libya

With the Libyan rebels rejecting an African Union peace plan, there seems to be no end in sight for the conflict. The opposition is still relying on coalition forces to help its cause, but it seems they could prove more of a hindrance.
­It has been claimed the allies have used depleted uranium in their attacks – a substance which causes cancer and mutations in those affected.

Libyan rebels could be seen climbing on a tank to celebrate one of the coalition’s latest successful strikes, unaware of the silent killer they may have been breathing in.

Gulf War veteran and depleted uranium expert Melissa Sterry believes the rebels on the tank would have been getting low-level radiation exposure.

Though the western coalition denies using depleted uranium in bombings in the country, others say there is a good chance weapons with the highly poisonous radioactive element have been used.

Well.. It depends on what tank was hit with.. Some tanks use DE in their SABOT rounds and A-10 uses DE when it uses its Gatling gun.. But afaik there is no DE in JDAMs and other "smart" munitions.

Few years ago this Yankees were carpet bombing Iraq and water boarding Arab youths in Gauntanamo and now suddenly when there are protests popping up in Arabia against the age old corrupt dictatorial regimes suddenly these Yankees shout out loud “ we are with the Arab people, we too want democracy” and start sending their puppets and now when protest in Libya pop up they hijack the peoples movement and try again to capture the power with by the way they know best “BOMBING” from the air.

Be careful people this is a classic conspiracy , after defeat in Iraq the oil mafia has realized that capturing Arabia with help from Arabs is the best way.



This is just a hypocrisy ! I remember few days ago in British parliament they said that they won’t use depleted Uranium and now they are using it, they promised there would be a no fly zone and now they bomb ground targets, they said this is not regime change and bomb Gaddafis residence, WHEN THE HELL THIS LIE WOULD STOP?

If it makes you feel any better, non-radioactive tungsten (the only other metal hard enough to make armor piercing munitions) causes just about as much cancer when introduced to the body.
