I decided to join this forum. About the only person I know online here so far is RED DAVE, and I tend to agree with him on almost everything. I hate Capitalism and Religion nearly equally and if given the magic power to destroy either it would be a tough choice (unless I could choose both!)

Welcome, Red Dave has some useful perspective, I tend to think it lead to a general pessimism on his part, but interesting for younger comrades like myself nonetheless.

Except capitalism is the only serious threat to the working class right now. How are you going to build a mass of class consciousness if you reject and alienate, for instance, Christian workers?

True, but I have the most problem with the conservative Christians - ie the anti-abortion, anti-gay, types - and those sort tend to see Socialism or Communism as nearly as bad a worshipping Satan anyway.

Haha I too hate Capitalism, given a chance I would destroy it. Good to see fellow Capitalism haters ;) have you seen Capitalism: A Love Story by Michael Moore? It's almost a perfect insight into the obnoxious ideology of Capitalism!

Well if you pick religion you would still have ~50% of the world on less than $2 a day. And if you pick capitalism we'd all be significantly better off right? Come on, an atheist planet filled with exploitation, starvation, and oppression, or a planet with the freedom of religion and socialism? How isn't the choice clear?
