I think that stuff is hilarious, but it would be quite confusing. I hate forums with just random names for their sections..

When I first joined, it seemed like most of the people in OI were hardcore right-wingers who were pro-war. These guys kinda got demoralized as their glorious wars became less and less popular and more obviously imperialist power-plays. I also stopped posting for a while and when I came back it was like all the neo-cons were replaced by Anarcho-capies and Ron Paulists and other forms of capitalist libertarians. There are a few left, but even they seemed to get bored and move on. Now it seems like all the regular OI people are reformists with a few conservatives peppered in.

I'd actually favor changing the name to "Non-Revolutionary" so that we might be able to keep social-democrats and liberals in dialogue in a way that wouldn't turn the normal board into a million arguments about pacifism or how we have to work within the system. I think OI was probably created to keep the "Move Back to Russia" people away from discussions, but it seems like that's become sort of a marginalized part of OI.
