Hey guys I'm a graduating senior who'll be going off to college next fall and I'm planning to study physics and philosophy as double majors. I'm really not sure how I'm going to handle college being that I've generally put of my work as a high school student and have poor time management skills. I also have very big problems focusing; I often find my mind drifting into other not so relevant things when time is running out for some important things (I think that other revlefters can empathize with this being that we have to think about the world's problems and so on). I actually got into the college of my choice and my parents said that I could attend but that I had to work hard and get as many scholarships/research opportunities as I can because well college is expensive. I might also get a job. So I'm truly wondering can my comrades give me some advice.
What classes should I take? Should I skip out of any classes? How involved should I get in the campus life? What should I do to deal with my problems? Study in the library, try to change it somehow. How should I handle a double major?
Regarding the money side of things. Is there someway that I can save on housing/food. Any advice on this kind of stuff/ scholarship collection.
