... and since the worst is yet to come, that 21% drop is poised to decline even further. When the dollar falls and unemployment, poverty, crime, misery rise to levels not seen in history, the American worker will see what capitalism really means.

When GlobeScan began tracking views in 2002, four in five Americans (80%) saw the free market as the best economic system for the future—the highest level of support among tracking countries. Support started to fall away in the following years and recovered slightly after the financial crisis in 2007/8, but has plummeted since 2009, falling 15 points in a year so that fewer than three in five (59%) now see free market capitalism as the best system for the future.

The point is not that Americans are against capitalism, the point is what is going to replace it. If Glenn Beck type figures are the considered answers, then this is hardly progress.

The left needs to gets its act together and provide real solutions.

When the dollar falls and unemployment...rise[s]

A falling dollar would most likely mean reduced unemployment.

Hm... Well, the US is viewed as one of the most 'capitalistic' countries, so I'd assume that most other places would have even less approval of capitalism...

I'm not sure though.

What I'm trying to say is that the world has a better view of Anti-Capitalism then the U.S. Alone does; And that's what matters.

You don't think growing dissent in the Empire's capital benefits the exploited nations?
