Hey comrades so I wanna watch a good flick right now. Do you recommend any good leftist movie or just a regular good movie that I can watch online for free?

'Kaidan'. The director, Kobayashi Masaki, was a Marxist and was opposed to WWII, 'Kaidan' is a nice collection of Japanese folktales (collected by Lafcadio Hearn), which are considered horror.

Ah, 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' is a great film in one of my favourite genres 9spaghetti westerns). I would also suggest 'The Big Gundown', 'Quien Sabe?' (infact, El Chuncho is a character in that film) and 'A Fistful of Dynamite'.

Dammit! I didn't see this until today after I woke up :P

But we should still compile the films so that further comrades who can't afford to pay to see a movie can do so for free.

Kaidan sounds really interesting.

Two different films. A Fistful of Dynamite was the title that the Leone film Duck, You Sucker! was released in the US under.

Fistful of Dynamite is actually an anti-revolutionary film.

But, any other Italian films from that period tend to have a revolutionary type of message (Fistful of Dynamite was a response to those films). The only one I can think of off the top of my head is The Battle of Algiers. The director went on to do other movies that you should watch but I'm too tired to look up his name now.
