Yes, and he has been criticized for his partying. I don't really agree with the tone of the criticism, since, I suspect, he has very little power in the PKP itself since he is in exile in the Netherlands. Nevertheless, this is still no way for the chairman to behave.

"Apologists say comrades should give Prof. Jose Maria Sison aka Amado Guerrero or Armando Liwanag some slack. He has to socialize with friends and allies. One of his friends is Asia Agcaoili, known in Philippine showbiz as the outspoken sex guru.

"Granted. But will the CPP allow the comrades in the guerrilla fronts to party with skimpily clad beautiful young women? Or will the leading organs impose disciplinary actions against the male comrades, the Red Fighters who have been away from their families to dare to struggle, dare to win the new democratic revolution?

"This seems to be another example of an Animal Farm within our proletarian party. The partying in Utrecht goes against the grain of our organization's policy on relationship of the sexes. Indeed, the Chairman is more equal the rest of more mortals found in our veteran cadres.

"Our Beloved Leader, our Fighters' Light and Beloved Warrior, is obviously beyond the reach of the policies he helped craft. Do as I say, not do as I do, as what one of contributors emphasized is the policy adopted by the Party vis-a-vis the Great Leader."

What's the problem?

Yes, and he has been criticized for his partying.

By whom? By people who have a right to speak, or by the usual suspects?

I don't really agree with the tone of the criticism, since, I suspect, he has very little power in the PKP itself since he is in exile in the Netherlands.

Maybe, maybe not. What is certain is that he was arrested a few years ago for supposedly ordering a double assassination from Utrecht. He was put in solitary confinement for 2 weeks and denied access to medication. All this without any concrete evidence. So apparently, the Philippine, Dutch and US governments feel differently. Obviously any old slander can be used to justify this act, and some dumb comments on some perfectly normal pictures are just a small part of that.

But hey, who gives a shit about this whole "no investigation, no right to speak" stuff when you can just slander a lifelong revolutionary from the comfort of your seat in England. With friends like that...

Because its just the kind of propaganda that I think the philipinne bourgeoisie would use against the maoists, that while they are fighting in the countriside, the founder of peoples army is partying in the Netherlands.

Is this directed at me? Just to make things clear, I believe that Sison is one of the greatest revolutionaries alive, I think he's a brilliant thinker and I read his works with great interest.

I agree with Roach's comment:

But come on people, let's poke fun at this.. this was intended to be a fun thread  (hence the first two posts)
