I just found out...

Also, this parade is special because it celebrates the new congress that is soon to meet. This congress will define the CUBAN MODEL OF SOCIALISM. It is expected to be a decentralized model and to give enterprises much more control over the economic situation and have a vested interest in their work. The end goal is to build an irreversible socialist system, unlike the USSR's model. The only way to get rid of it would be to kill everyone.

I eagerly await to see what the new economic direction the congress will send Cuba in.

What's your opinion on the pornographic/stripper way women were depicted during revolutionary celebrations in Cuba some years ago?

My opinion on that is that you like to rain on parades.

I honestly don't think that's a revolutionary (or healthy) depiction of women and definitely serves patriarchy. What do you think?

EDIT/PS: Long live the Cuban victory over the U.S. imperialist mercenaries at the Bay of Pigs! :)

The Granma in person looks small as hell. 82 men must have been quite uncomfortable.

And you'd think, what does Charlie Sheen have to do with all of this?
