hi y'all. so i've started losing weight, and i've had success working out my upper body area, but when it comes to my legs, i've been having some trouble. my fat tends to concentrate near my buttocks and thighs, and i want to slim those body parts down, so that i end up with the classic "V-shape" outline for men. are there any workouts that could work for me?

Short answer: No.
Long answer: The distribution of your fat cells is not something you have much of a say in. It is a result of genetic, hormonal aswell as external factors such as obesity in childhood.
Spot-reduction, the idea that you can loose fat from a particular area of the body by excercising that area of the body, is nonsense. Pure and simple, nonsense. Doing thousands of sit ups will not take fat off your blubber belly. Climbing stairs will not help you loose your thunder thighs.
If you loose fat you will loose fat from your legs. This is inevitable. We all have certain areas of stubborn body-fat, but unless you plan on competing in a bodybuilding show, there really aren't any special prescriptions that can or should be given. Use correct scientific principles to loose fat and you will (probably) look better, legs and all.
Also, there is no such thing as 'firming' or 'toning' - only stronger and weaker, bigger and smaller, fatter and leaner. I'm not being a nazi, the distinction is very important.
