Hello everybody.

Okay where to begin?
I am in my early twenties and my interest in far left politics began with my staunch opposition to racism and fascism. Although I currently live in mainland Europe (which I will explain later on) I am British, originally from the main Dorset area.
What worries me, are the developments in United Kkkingdom such as the BNP and the EDL, and their consecutive streetarmies with whom I had the pleasure of meeting face to face. In fact, my stance as an anti fascist has spurned me to temporarily flee the island. I do, however, continue to oppose fascists on the street in Holland, Denmark, Sweden and I will continue.

I identify myself atm as an anarchist and I am still strong in my belief of individual freedom. I am also, open to any new ideas from the left. I have been reading on Marx and Luxemburg, added a bit of Trotsky (not to sure about him) and I plan on reading up on new thinkers such as Finkelstein.
If any of you have any suggestions of what I should read up on, please tell me so.
I am open to new ideas, but let me state again: anti racism and opposing white privilege are my main targets.

Hope to hear from my comrades here soon.

All the best, Anarch.

Welcome to the forum! Everyone's going to just recommend an introductory text to their tendency, why should I be any different?

If it makes no sense at all, you're doing it wrong.

Your posts within the Introductions subforum (as well as Chit Chat, when you have enough posts to access it) don't go towards your post count.
