Hello comrades,

This is my first post at this site although I have been reading posts here for a couple of weeks now. I just recently joined the CPUSA and have not gotten my membership packet or much info from the party yet. Anyhow, I am a big supporter of Cuba and considering all the pressure and hardship they are under I believe they are on the right track. I am also a supporter of Chavez and Lula. I don't know much about Vietnam though, however I have heard of US veterans going back to visit and when they get home saying it isn't nearly as bad as the US government makes it sound. So what is the story in Vietnam?

The story is: the restoration of capitalism.

Yes, after the collapse of the Soviet Union the world Communist movement has weakened and revised itself to the point of the ideology becoming insignificant.
