Sorry Truth, 3 of my favorite cd&#39;s used to be Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and And Justice For All, BUT when the band was questioned about some fans saying that they were "selling out", they replied, "yeah, we sell out every concert we play", fuck them. What happened to the days(and music) of garage days? They were one of the best bands around, but part of that was the fact that they wrote good HARD music, not Enter Sandman. I will admit, l still listen to the old stuff, but what a shame that fame went to their heads. If l may quote......you know it&#39;s sad but true. :(
Bands evolve, change their immage, but to sell out for the sake of being more commercial friendly........RIP.

As for Metallica, They were a great band and even with Napster I would still like them if they produced good music but quite frankly, they don&#39;t. Lars Ulrich sounds as if he&#39;s playing a garbage can in the latest album.

I really hate metallica in it&#39;s current shape.

They have a lot of good old songs, from the times that they weren&#39;t such money sluts. Altough Metallica hasn&#39;t by far as much talent as Sepultura, Napalm Death, AC/DC they are now playing way below their level for the Nu-"Metal" scene, to earn some money.

Well going on the real topic. My very subjective answer would be Angus from AC/DC, Slash, Joe Satriani, Lenny Kravitz just to name up a few.
