Most forums don't have a powerful leftwing presence. I remember reading PoliticalForum a year ago and knew that I wouldn't want to join. The only forum were I recall any socialist or leftwing presence had only a handful of social democrats and democratic socialists *not a forum for me*

Personally I would find it funny if many of us "commies!" did join a mainstream politics website like that, just to balance the scale slightly in our favor (so we wouldn't be ganged up on like we would normally). I, however am not the best debater, and wouldn't be the best asset in an argument against them.

I do believe a mass join of many revlefters on that site would result in great hilarity, based only on the thought of all the conservatives losing their shit at the sight of 20 new members on the site, all of which are communists:laugh:

I was talking to a liberal today (ex-fiance's dad) and he kept going on about the individual vs the community/collective. Then he kept saying before every sentence "well, i'm a liberal..." Big fucking deal? He got really up-in-arms when I said I was disappointed the huge showing in Wisconsin lead to nothing but being hi-jacked by union leaders who wanted a meaningless recall. Especially when I was attacking the bureaucratic unions who need to change their image and how they operate. He thinks its more important to launch a campaign against "Citizens United" rather than shed away the bureaucratic layers of his union (UAW) and become more grassroots-orientated. He doesn't want unions to change, he wants people's opinions of unions to change (which they would, if the unions changed!)

Anyway, point is:
