Hello from a former Russian

I am a pretty recent leftist. I used to do a lot of work with Democrats, but soon realized that change has to come from the roots, and thus became more and more radical. I never thought getting involved into politics would change my views so much!

I was born in the Soviet Union, I am really interested in getting more involved in labor politics, organizing, and building a real democracy!

I am a socialist feminist, I consider myself broadly a democratic socialist (although I am sympathetic to libertarian socialism)...etc.

To find out more about leftist politics and learn more about other people's points of view. I am especially interested in alternative models of development for third world countries (the Jeffrey Sachs let's give them loans and then rob them of resources didn't exactly work for Russia) and the woman's struggle. :thumbup1:
