Surround the Cities from Within!
a Declaration of the Revolutionary Urban Farmers League (RUFL)
We, the Revolutionary Urban Farmers League, an organization of Marxist-Leninists based among urban community garden projects throughout the Unites States, seek to build a revolutionary Fifth Column of urban and rural peasants in the First World to assist the Third World proletariat and peasantry in the overthrow of their capitalist and imperialist oppressors, and their First World labor aristocratic pawns.
The First World proletariat is objectively reactionary. It can no longer function as a revolutionary class as it has been bought off by the superprofits extracted from the exploitation of the Third World. Thus, the Third World proletariat and peasantry must stand at the vanguard of the world revolution. However, in order to bring revolution into the First World, the Third World proletariat and peasantry must make alliances with still-existing revolutionary forces in those countries. While the proletariat of these countries cannot, because of their reactionary nature, be counted upon to join the Third World in the struggle, it turns to the super-exploited peasantry of the First World to be the allies of the Third World proletariat and peasantry, and to surround the cities of the First World through a campaign of People's War.
Thus, it is the duty of the Revolutionary Urban Farmers League to assist in this struggle by creating a layer of urban peasantry to ally with the revolutionary rural peasantry and Third World masses in order to overthrow the cities. Through the creation of urban gardens and farms in cities throughout the First World, we can help create a class of urban peasants whose natural inclination, combined with the proper guidance of the Revolutionary Urban Farmers League and Marxism-Leninism-Mao Tse Tung Thought, succeed in the overthrow of the cities through a revolutionary Fifth Column of urban peasants, thus bringing world imperialism to its knees.
