I'm going to be coming to Perth for several months at the beginning of May, and I was hoping I could get some advice on where to go, what to do, where to find work, where to listen to music etc etc anything that could be offered would greatly help, cheers.

Does austrailia have an indy media or similar site? that might be a good place to start get familiar with the radical scene. Food not bombs has a chapter there,

I found food not bombs to be a great way to get active in an activist community when you are new to an area.
