Yes, tax the Super Rich. Tax them now. Before the other 99% rise up, trigger a new American Revolution, a meltdown and the Great Depression 2.
Nothing truly revelatory in the article, and of course he's only advocating raising taxes on the SUPER rich (but not the "regular" rich) to maintain the status quo, but I just found it interesting that an article warning of possible revolution was published on a mainstream (WSJ/NewsCorp) financial website.

whats interesting though is that that article is the most read on that website and since 20:01 yesterday morning, has almost 1,000 comments.

CIA considers a country at risk of civil unrest if the Gini coefficient (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gini_coefficient) spikes over .4 - into the 'red zone'. US is around .46 at the moment.

Source?
Source: this guy Gorilla went to college with who worked in risk analytics at Morgan Stanley. Suppose it would be asking a little too much to put </thread> here, huh?

I doubt it, just one of those things they prefer not to publicize. Just like how Chase Manhattan Bank (who the Mexican state would rely upon in the refinance of its debt default) airily stated in its memos that Mexican needs to "crush" the Zapatistas. Not a state secret, but a little bit too overt empirical support for Karl.
