Castro predicted NATO would intervene in Lybia. It surprised me at how right he was. He's still wise after all these years, unlike Ronald Reagan at this juncture in his life.

I think a more appropriate term is imperialist.

Castro is one of the wisest guys out there and his comments are always top notch.
He publishes his reflections as a blog regularly, at least once a week.

I remember reading about his warnings of a war in the middle east and the threat of nuclear disaster and thinking, hm I don't exactly see it that way.
Boy was I wrong!

Despite my hatred of fascism, I don't think that fascists would care about Libya. They'd probably be more interested in Egypt.

And how many people were there on this forum doubting Castro's words, stating such b.s. like the imperialists were siding with Gaddafi against the rebels, and whatnot.

Wow, spooky shit, that guy should start predicting lottery numbers.

Are you implying that Ronald Reagan is still alive? Or do you mean when Reagan was in his 80's?

You can't understand Reagan's essence until you see hear his propaganda for the AMA back in the 1950s against "socialized" medicine and how it would lead (of course) to the end of American freedom. Capital never got tired of wheeling this intellectual light-weight, on his best day, out as a familiar media prop to seduce the masses. As Chomsky put it, when Reagan said he didn't believe himself to be committing any wrongs with Iran-Contra, he was speaking the truth. Reagan had no idea what he was doing in state politics, and his minders corporate and militarist alike consistently felt the need to interrupt him and coach him. By his second term he was demented and had no idea what he was talking about. Notice despite being the demigod of the U.S. Right no one bothered trotting him out to say even empty rhetoric after he left office, which you'd think they would. Rather, he had nothing to say and had already been getting to the point in office that he probably would not be competent to operate a motor vehicle. He was their empty prop.

"Anyone who tries to seize Cuba," said the most glorious fighter in our history-"will only gather the dust of her soil soaked in blood."
I beg you to excuse the frankness with which I address the issue.
Cuba is one of the free-est, if not the free-est country in the world. It constantly tells the United States to go fuck itself. Not many other countries can do, or actually do that.
