It's funny! But there were 2 protest in Southern California of 2 complete causes. 1 was the Libyan community coming out to voice their support for the rebels and their hate for Gaddafi and on the other side there was the ACTUAL protest I planned to attend.. "Millions against Monsanto" against GMOs in our food.
I've yet to taken part in any Libya demonstrations. Just because the whole thing smells funny to me as I've voice my concerns and lack of grasp of the issue on here.
ANYWAYS! this is what I noticed from the Libyans or other arabs out there...
FRENCH flags... yes.. the flag of their colonizers... a couple UK flags and a lots of US flags.. a sign that read "Thank you Hillary Clinton for standing up for the Libyan people" OH and they couldn't left out a Hezbollah flag.. WTF!?!?!
I also noticed A.N.S.W.E.R LA's signs the read "US out of Libya" in the trash cans...
Fuck is wrong with these people? What makes them think they are an exception? That France, UK, the USA and NATO genuinely wanna help them.. I asked them... "where's the No Fly Zone for Darfur?, Cote D' Ivore, Burma, Bahrain and Yemen???" EXACTLY!
