At least, someone sent me the link and told me it was Brazilian cops. I don't understand the language, so have no way of telling where this is happening. All I know is what I see in the video, and had to share it with you guys.

Did they shoot him or shoot around him. Jesus christ they shot him. Did the other cop pull and point his gun at the cop shooting the kid? What is going on in this video?

Things are pretty bad in Brazil. My sister lives there and when I visited her she told me to stay away from the cops.
It's not as bad as in Paraguay though, where I got robbed by policemen (right before I wanted to cross the border back to Brazil :().

It's hard to tell, it looks as if some of the shots the cops took didn't hit the kid, but I think at least the first shot on camera did. At first I thought they were dragging him off to a cop car near the end, but there doesn't seem to be any cop cars around. I don't think it's a stretch at all to think that these fucking pigs killed this kid. But I have no way of knowing the story behind it - I'm hoping someone fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, or maybe if we have any comrades in Brazil, he or she could clue us in. It almost looks as if one cop shot another cop in one part of the video, but it's admittedly unclear.
Regardless of whether the shots landed, firing in the direction of an unarmed kid is something these cops involved should be hung for - at the nearest street corner. I don't care what the kid was accused of, he's unarmed, and clearly terrified.

More brazilian cops shooting on kids, in this case the kids were playing footbal, when somebody in the neighborhood called to the police station complaining about the noise, its a completely different region of the contry, its seems that police violence is quite outspread here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjAP494uV8g&feature=related
I once saw a bar being destroid by drunken cops because it was flying a flag of the soccer team that won the state championship. There are countless stories of massacres and torture being waged be these scum all over the country.

Definitely Brazilian police (Amazonas State police). Here (http://www.saladamix.com/2011/03/25/policial-atira-em-jovem-no-amazonas/) is a better link, with a text describing what happened.
Here is a translation:
Policeman shoots young man in Amazonas
Police violence
A video showing a teenager being beaten and shot by state uniformed police was divulged last week. Images were captured in August 2010 by a surveillance camera, in Amazonino Mendes neighbourhood, Manaus East End.
It is possible to see the boy crying in despair, after being shot three times by a policeman.
The boy was helped by another policeman, who shote in the direction of the agressor.
Wounded, the teenager had to walk more than 100 meters up to the police car in another street nearby.
The policemen version was recorded in a "boletim de ocorrência". One of them todl that a mototaxi stopped the police car and said that some men had shot at him. Then when the policemen arrived at the street they would have been met with gunfire.
But the images show a different version from the allegations of the policemen. So, according to this, yes, he was wounded, and yes, the other policeman shot towards his colleague (the video seems to show the first policeman waiting the others getting away, looking back a few times as if to certificate he was alone with the victim, and after that the second policeman comes, fires, and drags the boy away, towards the car, where there is a group of policemen).
Another link (http://www.saladamix.com/2011/03/25/policial-militar-da-forca-tatica-de-manaus-atira-covardemente-em-menor-de-14-anos/) gives more details. According to it, the crime was in August 2010, but was only uncovered by state attorneys recently. The policemen are being prosecuted; six of the seven involved have already turned in or been found. The state attorney says if the Police doesn't takes immediate measures, he may sue the Police commander for desobedience, prevarication, and administrative improbity. Then the state Security Secretary says the policemen are going to be taken out of the streets, disarmed, and the state will seek preventive arrest against them. The boy's family is under a programme for witness protection, and judicial procedures are undergoing under secrecy in order to avoid retaliations. The boy was wounded in the lung, and, according to the attorneys, there were 5 shoots in total - so the footage doesn't show three of them.

Brasils police is notorious for their violence to street kids. A few years back...or perhaps many...there were reports about clean up crews going around to shoot and round up and arrest the kids in an attempt to "clean up the streets".
don't know if this is true though...
