well, at least a link tme pic.

i'm pete, i've been coming here for a while, mainly just to look, as i only get online thru internet cafes. i was introduced to the site by mjm, so am a kiwi, but now live in newcastle, oz. i've been here about a month, working for an ngo. i'm 22 and no longer have a beard. have been doing enviromental work for years, and have started to look away from the bandaids we have to apply and towards the root of the problem -ie capitislim. don't know a huge amount of polictal theory -guess you would call me an anarchist that feels communism is needed to achieve the level of conscieness needed for this system to work- so i am here to learn.
i'm a pretty staunch vege, and have done a bit of animal rights work. pacisfism is also very important to me, so i would look away from a violent revolution, feeling that any society built on violence will be based upon violence. i'm not quite sure if we can achieve change without this though, which leads to much moral debate inside my noggin ;)
have just been at the pub, and am a little dissapointed with the level of intelligence i found there, so hope to find something differnet on this board.
