Greetings comrades. I'm a communist from the leftist loving state of Mississippi *sarcasm*. I joined this site to learn, and to keep my sanity after dealing with the daily trials of being a socialist in the heart of GlennBeckistan:thumbdown:.

As far as tendencies go, I'm not sure what I would fall under. I'm a Marxist, but I haven't read many authors outside of Marx, Engels, Bakunin, and Kropotkin. (note that although I have read Bakunin and Kropotkin I do not consider myself an anarchist)

Hi there! Welcome ^_^ Lol "Glennbeckistan"

Sadly people down here treat him like a prophetic figure. I literally had someone ask me, upon hearing that I was a socialist, if I was a "Marxist-Obamaist"

Welcome! Nice to see that sense can flourish even in the heart of GlennBeckistan. :thumbup1:

Welcome, how's the weather down there?

Chaotic. It was around 80 degrees this morning, but has now started raining and dropped to 45:blink:

No wonder the Scots flocked to the South- your weather systems are just as schizophrenic as ours are!

I feel your pain. I'm from Mississippi but have lived in Alabama for the last ten years. Just keep your head up!

Oh wow. I'm sorry O_O. Living in Orange County gives the same effect but less so....

Besides greasy food and Soulja Boy, what have the Southerners done for us?

Well...Southern hospitality? Nope. Complete fabrication, that is. Uh...OH, that's right, the major catalyst for the last big decade of struggle in the United States.

There are a lot of Southern comrades lately! Plenty of people from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia... The Deep South is turning socialist

Mississippi is byfar one of the most poor states in the entire country. Yet it remains probably one of the most faithful republican voting-blocks. It's always in the top 5 conservative state listings. I'm not saying they should vote Democrat, but man, it's like the Slave telling the plantation-owner he likes to be whipped

ANYWAYS,
Welcome!
