I am immigrating to Canada in the summer. I live in the US but I am not a citizen.
It depends on a lot of things.
Do you have any marketable skills. There is a certain list of skilled workers that are considered. More about this:

Obviosuly you have no problem with english.
There is also another way of doing it. Get into a Canadian University. However there are a few problems with this. It is pricey. So what a lot of internationals do is that they do an undergraduate degree and masters in their home state universities and then apply abroad for a funded masters. Most masters in the hard sciences are funded in Canada and you get a living stipend from the university. After that you are able to apply through a program called "Canadian Experience" for permanent residence, because the canadian government assumes that by getting a degree in Canada you already started living as a "canadian". However is hard to get into grad school unless you have really good grades. This is the way I am immigrating.

Another thing is learn french. They have this point system that determines whether you will be granted an immigrant visa. If you can speak French (even rudimentary) as well as English (which you already know) then it enhances your score.
