Pretty good news, dude.
Vermont seems to be ahead of most other states in the U.S. concerning legislation; I'm not a hundred precent sure but I think homosexual marriage is legal, and I definetly know marijuana is decriminalized, since I read in High Times it has the most smokers per capita, beating out California. If I remember correctly, 49.2% of poll-takers ages 18-25 have smoked in the past year.

Vermont is usually considered the most progressive state in the U.S.
This is great news. I don't see Universal Single-payer Health-care happening from the federal government anytime soon, especially since commentators have tried to convince the masses what was passed by Obama was great and helpful, when in actuality it just puts more profits into private hands.
So, similar legislation of Vermont's bill may have to appear state-by-state. No problem for states like Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Iowa, Washington, and Oregon. Bad news for people in Utah, Mississippi, Wyoming, Alabama, South Carolina, Oklahoma, etc.

Yes, it is. Might as well list them all: Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington D.C. Sadly, same-sex marriages were recently revoked in Maine.

Vermont is so progressive they even elected a self-described socialist to the Senate. Granted he is more of the democratic type, but I think Sanders really cares about the working and middle-class people in America.
