Question is in title.

My answer is yes, and I did so in a science class!

I went to a small private school on a native reservation, and in the academic stream (apparently for smart kids?) our chemistry and biology classes had like, 3 or 4 people usually. One kid was in sports, another in student council, and as an aspiring anarchist loner I found myself alone in the class with the teacher.

My science teacher was an awesome guy, and instead of teaching the lesson with no one but me to "learn" it he asked what kind of science thing we could do for that class.

Being a mischievous radical I brought up the AC on a school computer and though he wouldn't allow me to suggest we try the thermite recipe we did end up making the smokebomb recipe.

It was my first and only experience with the book, in a safe setting with a teacher I trusted who felt adventurous enough to go through with my crazy schemes. The rest of the class was kinda jealous I imagine, but the teacher was impressed I had access to an underground textbook :p

So, anyone else ever try something in it?

[I am unsure of any rules relating to this cookbook thing, if it's not allowed please don't kick me:blushing:]

Thats one stupid teacher, not for the experimentation but because the cookbook is an admitted secretservice fabrication, several of the recipes are designed to blow your fingers of.
Stay the fuck away from it, there are way more trustable books out there.

Which is why I've only tried it in a safe environment, seriously I had my doubts and rumors fly about but still.

I got the book as a novelty and the only thing truly helpful in it is the pot cooking recipes (stuff like pot meat loaf, pot brownies etc....) beyond that the book is at best pointless and at worst dangerous.

Probably a good idea to not state what it was that you made from that book- as stated earlier- you can't even follow a guide to gluing doorlocks shut without severely injuring yourself.

But I made it safely under the guidance of the teacher. o.0

It's an amusing read, but as others have pointed out, it's not the smartest move to actually do anything that's in there, especially anything involving explosives or dangerous chemicals.

I made COPS appear with warrants and tazers and mace and angry German Sheppard's with rabies.

"Steal this book" is better IMO :thumbup1:

This is a great cop thread by the way.

What do you mean, precisely?

What do you mean, precisely?

"How many of you militant anti-capitalists have made something illegal or relatively illegal?"

This isn't an accusation, as I'm half joking, but it certainly isn't what I'd call a safe thread.

That it is, but since no one said anything but me, who gives an anarchists butt?
