I am from a place in in Russia called Astrakhan. Both my parents are fluent in English so I grew up learning both Languages. When I was 18 I was conscripted into the Russian Ground Forces and Fought in the Second Chechen War. I am a staunch Marxist-Leninist, and strongly support the restalinization of Russia. I also support the recreation of the Soviet Union. If you have any further questions, I will gladly answer them.

Alright, welcome. :)

What if the people of the former USSR don't support it's recreation?

Most people I know who lived during that time support its recreation.

Welcome comrade !

I know a little Russian , I will try to write it here if something is wrong don't throw a grenade at me :)

Welcome.

That's pretty badass considering how weird that war was.

Are you a legit ideological Marxist-Leninist or just support Stalin because he's basically the foundational figure of modern Russia the way Peter I was the foundational figure of the Russian Empire?

Because for many people here being really legit and anti-revisionist means siding with Mao's China and/or Hoxha's Albania and considering the USSR starting with Khrushchev's attempted "International Socialist Division of Labor" social-imperialist, and post-Liberman reforms (http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Экономическая_реформа_1965_года) functionally state capitalist. There are differing views though. Me? I'm anti-revisionist (against Khrushchev, Brezhnev) and anti-ultra-leftist (don't see the anarcho-Stalinist groups like Red Brigades, Japanese Red Army, and Red Army Faction as productive) but for everything in-between.

Please, let's not turn this introduction thread into an ideological interrogation.

Most Russians I know are staunchly of the belief that the USSR was a better state than the current Russian Federation.

Perhaps I'm just a tad overtly sensitive, but this question sounds racist/chauvinist to me.

Would you ask a black Obama voter if he only supported Obama because Obama was black? doubt it. So please, extend the same courtesy and benefit of the doubt to our Eurasian friend here.
