But what is seriously wrong with the story (Besides the actual killings themselves) is the military's reaction. Which was "we're sorry for the distress these photos cause."

They weren't apologizing for the fact that the civilians were killed and then treated like trophy's, they're apologizing because the idiots took photos of the crime and that the photos got out.

Old story is old though.

Hi, i read an article some months ago called "Psychopathy: the official USA behaviour", and the definition of psychopathy is almost the same as apathetic. And what i mean is that in USA as a whole, not only in The Pentagon and US Armed Forces there is a lot of apathy and psychopathy. Because one has to be really psychopathic to know that US soldiers are doing criminal sick things like that and yet it is not causing any remorse or anger in the leaders of The Pentagon and the US government.

Well, you know like Karl Marx, Lenin and most leftist writters try to be real scientific, what i mean is that we cannot blame US citizens. I think that the one to blame for lack of outrage in the US population is CNN, FOX news and the media in general for not informing people very well and in details the real cause, consequences and details of the US War in Afghanistan.

We let the military get away with too much. And like Revolutionary Tool said it's apalling that they apologize for "any distress these photos cause" instead of apologizing for the actual actions depicted... That's like, I burn down your house "I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused by your house being burned down. But I am definitely not sorry for doing it."

This is true. The US ruling class learned the lessons of the Vietnam war and has a media blackout on what is going on in Iraq. Uncensored documentation by all the media outlets is what led to extreme, world-wide mass disapproval of the Vietnam war.

But everyone here has gotta be honest-- atrocities like this happen in all wars, by any country's military. But one of the main points of real democratic socialism is to end the cause of imperialist war for "scarce" resources, right?
