For those who enjoy drinking kombucha.

If you don't know what it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kombucha

It's my favorite drink even better than yerba mate. High Country and Brew Dr. are my usual brands. Though the price bothers me. 3-4$ a bottle is too expensive. This week I'm gonna try to brew my own.

I've never had kombucha, but I met a dude at a party once who nearly killed himself making it. Apparently, he was making it in big ass glass vats which he would keep in a cupboard. He had to use a step stool to get it down and splashed some, causing him to slip and shatter the jug. He put about a ten inch slice in his arm and had to be hospitalized, lol...

Clearly a risk that is inherent to kombucha-production. The courts should definitely regulate this dangerous activity, to prevent further bloodshed...

In light of this I am starting a new organisation called Concerned Citizens Against Kombucha (CCAK). We will work to designate kombucha a regulated substance and make home production of it a federal offense.

Have you actually tried the stuff? If not then I don't see how you would understand. As much as I think mate is amazing, if I was trapped on a deserted island with only one choice of drink it would have to be kombucha.
