This is already being discussed in the Anti-Fascism forum.. But are any RevLefters going to be showing up for the counter-protest? Cause I'll be at the counter-protest. The Nazi rally is being held in Trenton, NJ.

That might save their demonstration from complete irrelevance...

And legitimize them? there is nothing more pathetic than a rally that doesn't get any attention. by showing up, that's saying that they're a worthy adversary, when really, they are not.

The never ending discussion
Antifascism keeps nazi groups small. Its all cool if you can sieg heil your way around town as youngster and get away with it. They get drawn into the group even more, become a real part of it. It fuels there idea's about how heroic they are, manhood, white racial warriors bla bla.
Now, if they get confronted by antifascists the table turns. If you have to be protected by the police and still get egged or get bricks hurled at you and whole neighbourhoods empty to oppose them that wrecks that dream. Same thing is going on in Holland. Nazi groups are always the same people, new people show up once or twice and are never to be seen again.
Ignoring something does not make it go away.

^ this, and besides, confronting nazi marches make good practice, it fun (so good for the morale), they are a good way to win support from/get some interaction with the non-politicized (everbody hates the nazi's and lots would like to come out for a day to shout "idiots!" at the idiots) and if caught cops and judges often let you get away with an slap on the wrist that you wouldnt get if you would be confronting capitalism, so again, it makes good practice.
and hey, given the choice between harassing the nazis and making revolution offcourse you should go for the latter, but lets face it, the choice is more likely to be between harassing the nazi's and sitting at home playing videogames and posting on revleft... so why not?

Is it just me or do Anarchists seem to be gaining support in Europe?

Agreed. I think turning a blind eye to nazis is never a good thing. The only way to stop nazi scum is by physically confronting them and kicking them off the streets.
