[B] Alright, now, if anyone would like to put down their knowledge and opinions on anything related to all Communist, capitolist, fascist, republic topics, please do so, I created this for learning. Any topic is welcome, not just the topics previously listed, everything, from Malcolm X to Josef Stalin to Che of course. And hell, why not get some music involved?

If I was to really undertake this task, it would be like publishing a textbook. The same is true for most other comrades here, I believe.

I have been pondering this idea for a long time. If any of you have heard of The Anarchist FAQ (http://www.infoshop.org/faq/index.html), then you'll know what I'm proposing. The Anarchist FAQ is by far the most impressive piece of information compiled to clarify an ideology. I think we should make one for Communism. It would have to extensively cover the different branches and the history and evolution of the theory, etc. The optimal way would be to model it after the Anarchist FAQ.

But a project of such magnitude would require a highly disciplined, dedicated, and intellectual group of people to pull it off. I think we have that here at Che-Lives. With each of our own specializations of the subject, our combined (literally) libraries of information, our shared beliefs in dialectal thinking, our diverse locations on the planet, and our connections to other people and information... we could pull it off.

What do you guys think?

Keep in mind although the would be a enormous undertaking, this truely is the first step towards raising the consciousness of others (especially) in the United States and all across the world about communism and socialism. This would also be giving hopeful youths such as most of us a centralized source of knowledge to which they can not only build their own belief systems from, but also use to debate others and give them the confidence and moral courage to be a radical!

Those ones suck man, back when I was a total newbie those sites just made me think they knew more about HTML than they did about Marxism (to paraphrase what I read somewhere).

It's all boring crap...

A comprehensive FAQ on Communism would be massive, perhaps even bigger than the Anarchist one because there have been more communist experiments, but someone would have to get off their arse and spend their time on it, dunno if it would ever happen.

It would be a massive FAQ and a massive responsibility of commitment to carry it out, but think of the result of so much work. We would be the creators of an easy-to-understand communism document for the millions of leftists and millions of potentials out there who want to know more. Think of the youth, the youth who show the highest degree of passion and lead with their incredible sense of justice. The completion of a Communist FAQ would demostrate the quality of dedication that people show towards their beliefs. It can demonstrate anything, and anyone can participate for any reason.

Some might want to do it in rememberence of the millions of communists who gave their lives fighting imperialism and colonialism, the millions who fought for the self determination of their countries. Some might want to dedicate their work to the great leaders such as Eugene Debs, Guevara, Allende, Arbenz, Lenin, Marx, Engels, Ortega, Castro, Minh...etc. Whatever one's reason is, their work will be accessible to millions of minds who want to learn more about this revolutionary idea.

Here's the first paragraph from the introduction of the Anarchist FAQ:

This FAQ was written by anarchists across the world in an attempt to present anarchist ideas and theory to those interested in it. It is a co-operative effort, produced by a (virtual) working group and it exists to present a useful organising tool for anarchists on-line and, hopefully, in the real world. It desires to present arguments on why you should be an anarchist as well as refuting common arguments against anarchism and other proposed solutions to the social problems we face.

I really want to do this, but I cannot act alone. The idea that I want to write about was not created to be an individual concept. Communism wants the masses to get involved, it wants to liberate the proletariat of the world, not just one person to reach this level of enlightenment, but all the world. That's why I'm asking for the assistance of the people here on this board who together can have the collective resources and connections neccessary to create such as the incredible product of a Communist FAQ.

I hope Malte endorses this propisition and makes this a main issue posted for all the people on the forum.
