Maybe because I'm from the East I didn't mind the thunder and lightning- and actually enjoyed it. Talk about hysteria.

Oh, wow! Really? I would really love to blow this off as a slow news day, but it's not!

I know whose local media I'm going to watch with twisted fascination when a real natural disaster hits that area. :D
