I don't... I hope the little turd winds up every bit as traumatized as the kids he's bullied.

I hope that neither end up traumatized and both learn fantastic life lessons from this and become best friends and go out and help people the rest of their lives.

So because the word 'slam' is used in the song it's some how relevant?

It's relative to the OP insofar as it was meant to be facetious.

If you think about it, it wouldn't take many degrees of difference until the skinny kid had smashed head or neck first down into the concrete. I wouldn't say die, but he could have been seriously injured.

Violence in schools is generally bad and traumatizing for kids, but of course it's a bit satisfying to see someone being bullied stand up for themselves. If you look at the attitude displayed, the skinny kid was acting like an abuser with a sense of superiority. It didn't seem like even being slammed into the ground traumatized him or shook him from that 'act'.

True, but the fact that the whole innerweb is now on his case might, lol...

I don't think that bullying a bully makes any sense at all. I think it will likely reinforce undesirable behavior.

Which may not necessarily manifest itself as bullying, but undesirable behavior nonetheless. Goddammit. Why do you have to be so sensible all the time? Making me feel guilty 'n' shit, lol.

Bullying is not the same as an act of violence in self-defense/retaliation.

However, if you are referring to the internet's reaction to it (such as in this thread) then bullying might be a fitting term and I'd agree.

He was standing up for himself. Kids who are picked on should stand up for themselves against people who try to hurt them for amusement.

the internet shouldn't bully the kid though.

This. The little shit got what he deserved.

Are people actually attacking this kid online -- searching him out and attacking him out of the clear blue? Or is it just a case of folks watching this video and saying to each other, "The little shit got what he deserved"?

If you follow the link Nic provided at the end of his post they're tracking him down via FailBook and whatnot.

They shouldn't do that, and the admins at those sites should be stopping it. It's becoming cyberbullying.

Once again Revleft betrays it's ceaseless devotion to liberalism and revisionism, where is the class analysis of these two boys? Why has the violence of their struggle not been placed in its proper social context?

(Yes, I'm totally kidding)
