While non-Muslims justify these types of actions . . .

You really are a one trick pony. Are you really thinking your gonna convince anyone here that Muslims are soo much cooler and more ethical than everyone else? (especially hindus), rather than the reality, i.e. everyone thinking your a clown.

Yeah, I see sooooo many non-Muslims justifying this one...those Sikhs in particular are just like 'yeah, it's cool to attack the minorities, bro!' Or maybe if we could just trash this thread - as long as that wouldn't constitute 'defaming Muslims' - I'd be pretty pleased :)

I am not trying to convince anybody of anything. I am simply posting news of interest, since this is unheard of. Normally, ethnic groups stick to their own and do not care about anyone else who gets hurt. This news seems peculiar in this regard.

Do you not see any irony in your saying that?

I am not kidding; this is serious. When my Hindu friends hear about attacks against Sikhs and Hindus, their predictable response is: don't blame the racists. It's because of Muslims we're being attacked (since they mistake us for Muslims).
This is their logic; they blame Muslims rather than the racists who perpetrate these attacks.

Not really ... unless you're assuming I am Muslim, which I am not.

Its interesting that all the Hindus you know are assholes, yet all the Muslims you know are awesome.

Are you Hindu? And if so why are you part of such an unspiritual evil religion that hurts people and loves discrimination?

I was born Hindu, never said I was a practicing one.

Well obviously you have a hardon for everything muslim, and hate hinduism, so if your not muslim, your a great preacher for it.

When did I preach the Islamic religion? Please don't lie. I was only talking about general behavioral patterns of various communities. And I have to conclude that Muslims are more civilized than the rest.

I was beginning to give Milk Sheikh the benefit of the doubt about his agenda on here, but evidence is building up to prove otherwise.
Milk, you have used this forum more than once to put the Islamic religion on a pedestal. then only yesterday you came out with this:
Militant atheism is inevitable, and religious folks must stop complaining. For centuries upon centuries, religion has mingled with practically everything - social life, politics, arts, science, you name it. Religion was the king, so to speak, and its word was undisputed.
Now things are changing, and religious people are complaining about not being able to discriminate against others anymore. That's what this whole thing is about: religious folks want a free pass.
Not gonna happen. Religion is the greatest curse upon humanity; even capitalism isn't half as bad. Even in capitalism, at least changes can be made, reforms can be done, there is something for the workers, some hope or happiness. In religion, there is torture and threat of force, no freedom, no equality, nothing. It's so irrational and uncompromising in its views that even capitalism looks benign by contrast.
You're either a poor wind-up, an Islamic propagandist or a 'self hating' Hindu  Come on dude ....give it up or come clean ....

I took the view he might be a Hindu extremist, playing a strawman to incite anti Muslim sentiment. Whatever the case if he just dropped the religious agenda (whatever that may be) he is a valuable and interesting poster. :thumbup1: And if he's trolling then he's damn good at it, respect!!

I am against religion, when did I ever say I love any religion? Why is it people here lie about this again and again? I never once said I loved or followed any particular religion. I've only said good things about the behavior of Muslims, never once did I quote the Koran and praise anything therein.

So? Did I say Islam is a better religion than the rest? That would be favoring one religion over the other. I am talking about the Muslim community, not the nuances of Islamic theology.

So the Muslim community is better than everyone else, and what they have in common is ...... ISLAM?

Since you find it hard to understand, let me explain this with an example. Let's say I know hundreds of capitalists, all of whom display exemplary behavior. I come to the conclusion that they're all good human beings, regardless of what I may personally feel about capitalism as a system. See where I am going with this?

Lets say you selectively pick out certain stories to try and paint a certain group to be extra ordinary while ignoring gaint other factors that play in and ignore that the same stuff happens in other groups.
Thats an idiotic example, because lots of people are good human beings, and if your trying to make some sort of ethnic or religious corrolation or even class corrolation then somethings wrong with you.
Your whole point here seams to be that muslims are better as a people (except that their defining factor, their religion, somehow does'nt play into it), and you ignore some facts while you embrase others.

I am talking about patterns; that's all. Second, generalizing based on good qualities is always a good thing. Forgive me for trying to see the good in everyone.

there is a difference between aknowledging a good action coming from a certain group and generalizing based on an action taken by a particular group.

Re the OP- he just talks nonsense from start to finish.
1) Stop making sweeping generalisations.
2) Look at individuals not groups.
3) Learn about what you are talking about before you open your virtual mouth.

I am like imagining you as some kind of Indian nerd who is playing MMORPG's, and is so detached from the productive process that you base your political values on what you subjectively find aesthetically appealing.
