The music video has become a viral sensation, but only after comedian Daniel Tosh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Tosh) posted it on his blog with the title "Songwriting Is Not For Everyone". The lyrics to the song Friday are commonly misunderstood and thrown off to be an example of bad songwriting. These lyrics are however about the recent democratic uprising in the Middle East. Friday, is actually pronounced Freeday and Mrs Black sings of the day where all people shall be free to live their lives. The main area of contention in the song is the question of whether to 'chill' in the 'front seat' or sit in the 'back seat'. This is a parody of International forces wondering whether to support the uprisings and sit in the back seat or to support the dictators in the 'front seat' in favour of stability. In the end International powers choose to support the rebels and Rebecca chills with her 'friends' in the back. There is no doubt that the international community is looking forward to the day the Middle East will be free, 'Friday' if you will.

By the way...just so you all know...today is still saturday. THat day comes after friday...and before sunday. Sunday officially starts in five minutes...and is two days after friday but the day before monday. In most countries sunday is considered to be either the end of a week...in some it is considered the start of the week. However these countries are stupid and need to be anihilated for obvious reasons but most of all because everybody knows that otherwise the RB song will not make sense at all...which is blasphemy. The week has seven days. The fifth of these days in countries which consider monday to be the first day of the week is friday. Its the day after thursday.

I hope this clarifies why we can not have nice things.

Yes...but thats just because yesterday was sunday. Today is monday...the day before tuesday. Which is four days before friday. So it now all makes sense....doesn't it?
