A thread for radical folk and acoustic music you feel worthy of sharing with the community.

nrdl4ijru8o

Ed Pickford's classic working class anthem, performed by one of Scotland's great radical folk artists, Dick Gaughan.

Rl7MYTTHUFg

The late great Luke Kelly's rendition of the "international anthem" penned by Hamish Henderson, communist and Scots-language poet.

PtAfIjRKUak

A song which I assume that you are all at least tentatively familiar with, performed by long-time radical and SWP member Alistair Hulett.

I'm glad Property is Robbery got in before I got off my ass... Three of the four songs he posted were ones that I considered doing but was too lazy to track down and slap in a post. The Joan Baez tune, the only one I hadn't thought of, was a great addition as well.

Thanks for doing the grunt work, lulz; best post in an already great thread!:thumbup1:

How about some radical folk punk?
Tom Frampton is good, so is Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, or his other band Wingnut Dishwasher's Union. Ghose Mice, Mischief Brew, Askin For It, The Casual Terrorist, Acoustic Front of Resistance, This Bike Is a Pipebomb, Captain Chaos, andd thats all i can think of at the moment. There's probably more but i'd beed to surf through my music when i get home. I'd link some stuff but can't yet due to not enough posts :(
