The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine denounced the Palestinian Authority security apparatus' campaign of arrests targeting a number of our comrades in the city of Nablus on March 11, 2011, at the request of the occupation under the auspices of "security coordination."
In a statement issued in Nablus, the PFLP demanded an immediate end to this campaign and targeting, and for an end to security cooperation with the occupier and the immediate release of political prisoners, noting that there are a number of comrades held by these security services for over a year.
The PFLP statement said that at a time of continuing Israeli occupation and aggression against our people, including murder, siege, settlement-building, the Judaization of Jerusalem, and at a time when our people are calling to end the division and build national unity on the basis of a solid return to the fundamentals of the Palestinian cause, rejecting so-called "negotiations" and "agreements" trampled by the occupation, it is appalling to see the Authority continuing its abhorrent policy of security coordination in Nablus, utilizing flimsy excuses to imprison our comrades.
