Suggestions for general topics and how to relate this movement to socialism as a whole and stuff would be loved.

Here's the progress so far

Fellow students of the ommitted, I have a vision that I would like to share with you. A vision where each and every one of our voices are actually heard. A vision that OUR government is actually in OUR hands, and is not the tool of a super rich minority to control the majority. I see a world where every single one of us is our own representative.

However, it has become quite apparent that Governor Walker and our elected officials do not share the same ideal. Upwards of 61% of the people surveyed by USA Today in the US oppose this bill along with us, yet we are seemingly unheard. We are drowned out by the money being used to lobby against us. It appears our voice is not louder than the “all mighty dollar.”

We will not stand for that. We all have a voice that will be heard, but only we ourselves can use it. True change will not come from politicians, law makers, or presidents, it will come from us. The people who make up the governed.

Update and essentially final copy because nobody seems to be replying(fast enough):

Fellow students of the [high school name removed - redanarchist] High School, I have a vision that I would like to share with you. A vision where each and every one of our voices are actually heard. A vision where OUR government is actually in OUR hands, and is not the tool of a super rich minority to control the majority.
We all have a voice that will be heard, but we ourselves must use it. True change will not come from politicians, law makers, or presidents. It will come from us: The people who make up the governed. We must organize and stand united to make our voices truly heard, and strive to create a government that is in all of our control, because the one we have now is not.
We are not the only ones struggling in the world either. Egypt, Libya, and other nations of the world are struggling against governments that do not represent them, their needs, or their best interest. We too have the power to make a true change, but only if we stand united as we do right now.
This bill goes deeper than the balancing the budget or collective bargaining. This is a direct attack at the working class by the rich corporate businessmen really running the government to make us cheaper, unorganized, and easier to exploit. Worker rights are not profitable for Big Business, and organization makes us harder for them to exploit.

(MORE ON BACK SIDE)

I have some good news, though. We do not need them. They are the ones who thrive off us and OUR work, and rely on us to stay in power. Do not vote Democrat or Republican, because they are two sides of the same coin. Choose yourself as your own representative. We have a voice only we ourselves can express, and we must express that voice ourselves, because no one else will do it for us.
If you share my vision I urge you to spread the word and share this vision with anyone and everyone you know. The time is NOW to make a change. Our rights and freedoms are being stripped away from us right before our very eyes, and we will not allow that to happen.

I was told by putzpie that his speech went rather well. He's a bit shy to post on here for whatever reason.

Really try to focus on the fact that the bill was A) Unpopular and against the will of the majority B) Debate was not allowed C) The people who passed the bill did not listen to the will of the people D) Action can still be taken (recall).

Keep it up. I lived in Madison for awhile, I grew up in Rockford... so Wisconsin has always been close to my heart. Except for football.
