I read somewhere once that he bombed an anarchist meeting because he was against organization of any kind, even of anarchists.
Any details on this if this is true?

No, that's not true.

Hahahaha. No. Whoever told you that must of had an axe to grind...
There's no mention of it what-so-ever in biographies of him (including the best one by Mark Leier) nor' other books I've read on the history of anarchism and socialism that mention him.
Plus, he wasn't opposed to organization.

I wish that was true

I'll give anyone 5 days (starting March 10 2011) to post any evidence of this. after that point I'm closing this thread.
I've read a ton on this character and I've never heard of this one. If the OP or anyone else can find a source I'll see if I could track down the primary sources but I am very, very doubtful there's a remotely repudable source for this claim.

Haha, Bakunin was not (nor any other anarchist for that matter) against "organization".

Bakunin? Against organization? He's the closest to authoritarian that the anarchist canon has.

Well...
It's actually something I read in Space 1889, an RPG rules book. Not the most reliable source, so I wanted to confirm it. Which is why I ask here.
I guess it isn't true then. I don't have access to the book at the moment, but I doubt quoting it wouldn't help anyone find the sources behind it.
Probably just a bunch of hearsay.

I see, thanks for the clarification. I agree that an RPG rules book is an unlikely first step to figuring out if this is genuine. Accordingly, I'm closing this thread and this claim that Bakunin bombed an anarchist meeting is considered bunk until further evidence surfaces.
