URGENT ACTION to free young Iraqi reporters
Dear [...],
USLAW has been informed by the General Federation of Iraqi Workers that three young journalists who had attended a protest demonstration in Tahrir Square in Baghdad on Monday were detained by the Iraqi Security Forces after they left the square. They never arrived home and calls to their cell phones have gone unanswered.
Please take a moment to communicate your concern to Iraqi authorities. Demand they be immediately released and that the Iraqi government respect the right of its citizens to peacefully protest, petition their government, and exercise their rights free of harassment, assault and detention.
USLAW has made it easy. Click HERE to send a message.

It will just take a minute and could save their lives. Unions and other social justice organizations around the world are participating in this protest.
Thanks in advance for your solidarity action.
Yours in solidarity,
