i've never been in to video games that much, but wow, that looks amazing.
You are now aware that Bethesda will never top Morrowind.
Besides, I'm more stoked about Duke Nukem Forever
i cant watch such videos lately, youtube requires me to verify me account by giving a telephone number...Yeah i will certainly not forget to do that:rolleyes: Fuck youtube, vevo and rest of shitty companies took over and now google accounts with specific personal info for an account are needed. So long for internet being "communist"

Call off class struggle? But then how am I going to afford a PC that can run this game by the time it comes out?

morrowind was more interesting than oblivion. wild steampunk shit coupled with some weird landscapes/ architecture. oblivion was just dumb fantasy. i hate that video games can be such an interesting outlet but you get just dumb fantasy archetypes. fuck the videogame consumer base/developers bunchof weirdos, but boring weirdos. if you gonna be a weirdo be like a fuckin cool one

I'm going to remain skeptical of Skyrim. Oblivion was disappointing and I don't want to relive it. Cyrodiil was supposed to be a jungle, not some bland high fantasy forest repeated over and over across the landscape. I fucking hate Bethsoft. I want them to do it fucking right.
I'm gonna stick with my newly discovered interest in roguelikes.

Nethack
Dwarf Fortress
DoomRL
These three things have kept me away from productivity more than anything else. Beware!

I recently started playing Nethack. It's hard as hell. Also have DF, but I don't really understand it.. gonna need to read the tutorials. I downloaded Elona, but I want to get used to the ASCII graphics before I mess with the fancier roguelikes.

When Skyrim comes out, only thing I see myself busy with is the cs, fixing all the things they ruined, so the game will be playable.

Too weird/unrealistic stuff is boring to me. I like medieval settings (or older) but not a fan of excessive magic like in Oblivion.
I haven't tried Morrowind though, many say it's good.

Yeah, I'm a fan of more low magic settings. One thing I don't like about TES.

If this one is half as good as Morrowind then I'll be a happy man.

I wonder what their long-term plan is. I hope they're going to keep making it so that every new game is in a new unique setting. After Skyrim, they're going to have four remaining provinces of Tamriel that have never been done in detail, and after that, they can still do Hammerfell and High Rock because those were only ever randomly generated.
Morrowind was great because it was a really unique setting. Hopefully, for the next games, they'll be daring and do something like Elsweyr or Black Marsh.

Oblivion was worse than morrowind, but all of you going "Hurr, oblivion was terrible" are borderline retarded.
Sorry.

Oblivion really was terrible. Level scaling, bad stat distribution on level up, boring main quest, numerous bugs, lack of promised of radiant AI, 3 voice actors for the whole game, awful combat AI, ignoring of important lore, and very little armor/weapons/loot. Mods made the game a lot better, but it was hard overcoming an already bugged engine with just mods.
It did improve over Morrowind in combat and graphics though. The whole game felt like it had been butchered just for all the console gamers.

Yeah there are mods you can get which f.ex. removes level scaling.
My problem with Oblivion is that every time I try it I kinda have fun for a couple of hours then it turns into me cheating, maxing stats and randomly killing stuff for shits and giggles. I think if it were an MMO I would enjoy it alot more, because responsibility/accountability tends to follow from that. Though of course uttering such words is usually met by outrage from the single-player rpg fanatics out there.

A TES mmo would be interesting. I know what you mean with the mods. All of my games of oblivion were very heavily modified. Only way I could make it playable for me. Shivering Isles was pretty good though. Didn't really need any additional mods for it.

i always played morrowind with tons of mods, was a fun game. played oblivion and expansions on console, i thought they were fun and had a good time didn't notice too many bugs. been thinking about getting it again just to fuck around.
