So I'm thinking very strongly about making a video on unemployment, in which I offer the viewer a Marxist perspective (big surprise right?). So I'm trying to figure out what bases to cover. The three major points I want to discuss are 1) the unemployed as a reserve army of labor used as a mechanism to drive down wages, 2) the huge waste of human productive potential wasted by perpetually leaving an able bodied segment of the population out of the production process, and 3) that unemployment will exist as long as capitalism continues to exist.

So, I'd appreciate your thoughts and input on anything I missed, should add, or elaborate further on.

Perhaps that the Marxist analysis of unemployment is also accepted by Anarchists and all socialists generally - to clarify your allies
