Correction to the translation: At the end where is says "Final Reflection", the should read "End of Reflection".

Sorry from not providing the text in this post. I'm still getting used to Linux and I don't know how to paste the translation without the original Spanish text.

From what I read, Fidel Castro implies that NATO is invading to quell the uprising waves that are occurring throughout North Africa and the Middle East. Am I correct?

What are your thoughts on his analysis?

What are your thoughts on his analysis?Probably correct. The last thing the US wants is uprisings throughout the Middle East, which might produce regimes unfriendly to the US and Israel.

He makes an alright argument, but without any mention of the crimes against Libyans during the uprising he risks being on the "wrong side of history". Libya may have been some anti-Imperialist country 40 years ago, but we know there have been absurd brutality towards the protesters, and Gaddhafi's explanations for this (LSD in their Nescafe and Al Qaeda) are more than laughable. If there's any intervention in Libya, it's only because Gaddhafi seems to have descended into a state of delusion in the face of the brutality of his own government. Perhaps it is the only way he can rationalize his actions? Either way, it is a glaring omission for Castro to leave it out.
