At one time, the ADL was the Jewish version of the NAACP, and they did some good work. However, as Dimentio pointed out, those days are long past. They are basically a mildly liberal front for US imperialism, especially with regard to Israel.

I guess maybe getting info from SPLC, but certainly not working with them. They appear to be scam artists, according to Counterpunch (http://www.counterpunch.org/cockburn05152009.html).

As far as Muslims go, they focus more on fighting Islamist terrorism than on hate crimes against Muslims. In fact, I don't see anything on hate crimes against Muslims on their website.

So no, they aren't active against Islamophobia and anti-arab bigotry.
